Uber Suspends Self Driving Car Program

Uber has suspended its self driving car program in Arizona after one of their self driving vehicles ended up in a collision. Uber is suspending the program while they investigate this incident. Uber has been struggling with their autonomous vehicle program for a while. Two Uber self driving vehicles were caught on camera running red lights. It looks like the technology is not there yet and Uber drivers will still be needed for many years to come.

Uber has increased the booking fee to take an Uber in San Francisco by $0.20 and other cities by as much as $0.35. In San Francisco, the booking fee went from $1.55 to $1.75. The increase only benefits Uber.

The customers pays more for every ride they take.
