How much do Uber drivers make?

Uber Drivers usually  make between $20-$50 per hour depending on what market you drive in.

This really adds up. This also comes in handy when they make you go on a long ride. If the surge is higher than the guaranteed boost, you will get the higher Surge. If there is no Surge or the Surge is less than the Boost Guaranteed, Uber will pay you the difference.
