When driving for Uber, you will pick up all kinds of people. One group of people to watch out for is minors.
Minors (17 and under) are not allowed to be on Uber rides if they’re alone. They must be accompanied by a guardian to be allowed onto an Uber ride. This is Uber policy and must be followed. If you suspect that you are driving a minor, you should ask for ID, or if you feel like it’s a touchy subject or just don’t want to ask, just let them know that they need to leave because you’re not allowed to drive minors, in which case they might show ID themselves. Let them know that it is against policy and not worth the risk driving them.
