Uber is starting their 180 Days of Change campaign and one of their starting changes will be the addition of in-app tipping in the Uber app.
Long ago, Uber didn’t even allow drivers to be tipped. Eventually, they reluctantly agreed to allow drivers to accept tips after many complaints. Now, they took it one step further by allowing in-app tipping finally. Now there doesn’t need to be a discussion about tipping with passengers. Passengers can now put in the tip after the trip ends.
The tipping feature also applies to UberEATS, so there’s no need for physical cash now when tipping your UberEATS driver.
