There may be a time where a passenger will cancel the trip without you knowing before you get to your destination. Here’s what you should do.
When you find out that a passenger has cancelled the trip either after you drop the passenger off or even if you catch them right as they do it, you may get angry or get the temptation to confront the person. Do not do this because it is not worth the time or effort. Instead, if you’re in the middle of your trip, continue to the destination to drop them off. Once you get to the destination, take a picture of the location that you dropped them off at for proof and contact Uber support through your Uber Driver app and let them know what happened. You will be reimbursed with the proper fare after they confirm the situation.
